Ingredients

  • 180 g semi-coarse flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 90 ml lukewarm water
  • 20 g vegan butter or olive oil
  • 1 PL apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 570 g LUNTER Quick Creations Tofu Cabbage Pie

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the vegan butter or olive oil and rub it into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Gradually add the lukewarm water and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and mix until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough on a floured board for another 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Then let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 3-4 mm.

Then shape the dough according to the 20 cm diameter cake pan. Gently press the dough into the edges. Trim the excess dough from the sides.

Fill the prepared shaped dough evenly with Quick Creations Tofu Cabbage Pie and close to form the pierogi.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Reduce to a gentle simmer and carefully add the pierogi.

Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pierogi float to the surface.

Remove the pierogi with a slotted spoon and drain.

Serve drizzled with melted vegan butter.
