Ingredients
- 400 g LUNTER Marinated Tofu Sweet Chilli
- 120 ml vegetable stock
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp coriander seeds, crushed
- ½ tsp thyme
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the breading:
- 100 ml plant-based milk
- 50 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 100 g panko or breadcrumbs

Instructions
Squeeze tofu well and cut into uneven pieces.
Mix all the ingredients well until the tomato puree, mustard and spices have completely dissolved.
Marinate the tofu for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2-3 hours).
Lightly drain the tofu, fry briefly in a pan or bake – gives a better texture.
In a bowl, mix the plant-based milk, flour, baking powder, salt, paprika powder and nutritional yeast.
Prepare the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
First dip each piece of tofu in the liquid mixture, then coat in the breadcrumbs.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake at 200°C for approx. 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, you can deep-fry them or fry them in a pan with oil.
