Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen) 
  • 100 g Lunter Mexican spread 
  • 1 tbsp thyme 
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (or grated Parmesan) 
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds 
  • 1 egg (for egg wash) or plant-based milk for a vegan option 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly on a floured surface. Evenly spread the tofu mixture over half of the pastry sheet. Sprinkle with Thyme and sesame seeds Fold the other half over the filling and gently press down.

Cut the pastry into 1 cm strips.

Twist each strip gently to create a spiral shape.

Brush each stick with an egg wash or plant-based milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for extra crunch.

Arrange the sticks on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
