Ingredients

  • 210g LUNTER Marinated tofu Teriyaki
  • 7 ml vegetable oil
  • 20 g onion
  • 70 g carrot
  • 2 g sweet paprika
  • 10 ml soy sauce
  • fine oatmeal

Finely chop the onion and peel and coarsely grate the carrot.

Sauté the onion and carrot in oil for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, crumble the tofu into smaller pieces and blend it with an immersion blender until no large chunks remain. At the end of sautéing, add the sweet paprika.

Combine the blended tofu with the sautéed carrot and onion, soy sauce, and oats. Mix the mixture thoroughly by hand and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Take approximately 35 g of the mixture at a time, squeeze it in your palm, and gently shape it into a ball. The mixture may seem crumbly at first, but the oats will help it hold together well.

Heat a generous layer of oil and fry the tofu balls until golden brown on all sides, or deep-fry them in a fryer.

Serve with mashed potatoes or salad.
